Quick Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix and cream together margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs and almond extract to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Mix until smooth.
    Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan.
    Put cake batter into pan; then drop by spoonfuls the pie mixture evenly over cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Dust with powdered sugar.
