Lasagne Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 minced clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. whole basil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (14 oz.) cans (2 c.) stewed tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans (1 1/3 c.) tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. red wine
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook the lasagne noodles and prepare Cheese Filling.
