Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 c. boiling water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    8 oz. pkg. thin noodles
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped or 1 large bunch fresh broccoli
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    4 1/2 c. milk
    1 can evaporated milk
    salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Saute the onion in oil in a deep large pan. Add the water and bring to a boil. Add bouillon cubes, noodles and broccoli. Cook until tender.
    Add cheese, milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cover and simmer.
    Yields 16 cups.
