Extra Easy Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter or oleo
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 qt. or more canned fruit (sweetened and juicy)
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Melt butter in 8 x 8 x 2-inch cake pan.
Sift together the sugar, flour, salt and baking powder.
Add milk and stir to blend. Add butter, leaving a coating in the pan.
Stir together and pour back into pan.
Add fruit to top of batter, but do not stir.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 40 minutes until pudding rises to top and browns as a crust.
