Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    dash of salt
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions.
    Cream the cheese with sugar.
    Beat in egg and salt.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Fill muffin pan 2/3 full with cake mix.
    Drop 1 teaspoon cheese mixture into middle of each cupcake.
    Bake as package directs for cupcakes.
