Sour Cream Rhubarb Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. rhubarb, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, nuts and butter.
    Mix until crumbly; set aside. Cream together brown sugar, shortening and egg.
    Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
    Stir well.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
    When well blended stir in rhubarb.
    Turn into well greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle with crumb topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes. Cut into squares.
