Dill Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
1 pkg. dry yeast or 1 cake compressed yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 egg (unbeaten)
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose flour
Preparation
Soften yeast in water, combine in mixing bowl the cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seeds, salt, soda and egg to soften yeast.
Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
Cover and let rise in warm place, 85° or 90°, until light and double in size 50 or 60 minutes.
Stir down dough into well greased sheets.
Make buns.
I use a large empty peach can for rounds.
Let buns rise and bake in 350° oven about 25 or 30 minutes.
Brush hot buns with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
