Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 c. chopped onion (1 medium)
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, heat the oil and add the onion.
    Cook gently until wilted.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
    Makes 2 cups.
    Store in the refrigerator.
    Keeps well.
