Cherry Nut Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (16 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla.
Stir in eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and mix well.
Spread 3/4 of batter in an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Top with cherry filling.
Dot with remaining batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
