Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter/margarine
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.
    Add hot water.
    Sift soda with flour.
    Alternate flour and buttermilk when adding to the cream mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake for 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
