Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 6 bananas
    2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding, made according to pkg. directions
    1 pound cake
    2 cans pie filling (strawberry or cherry)
    2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
    2 large containers Cool Whip
    nuts to garnish
Preparation
    Cut bananas to make a layer in bottom of punch bowl.
    Put a layer of pudding on top of bananas.
    Slice pound cake and arrange slices to make layer.
    Add 1 can pie filling to top of cake.
    Add a layer of crushed pineapple.
    Put one large container of Cool Whip on top of pineapple.
    Spread evenly.
    Add nuts to garnish.
    Repeat layers in same order.
    Makes full punch bowl of dessert.
