7 Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can peas
    1/2 c. water chestnuts
    3 hard-boiled eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    croutons
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. mushrooms
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    2 c. mayo
    2 tsp. sugar
    Parmesan cheese, grated
    crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Layer vegetables and eggs; mix mayo, salt, sugar and garlic powder.
    Spread over layered vegetables and eggs; sprinkle cheese, crumbled bacon and croutons on top.
