Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs, unbeaten
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and butter; add sugar and beat.
Cream until well blended.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each addition. Sift flour and dry ingredients together.
Add to other mixture alternately with milk to which vanilla has been added.
Blend thoroughly.
Turn into greased, lightly floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
