Lemon Poppy Tea Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. poppy seed
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Beat butter until light.
Gradually add sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Mix in lemon rind, vanilla and poppy seed.
Sift together dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt).
Add alternately with yogurt and mix until smooth.
Pour into buttered and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
