Old Fashioned Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (9-inch) pie crusts
    7 c. cored peeled apples, thinly sliced
    1 c. Splenda or sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Prepare apples in large bowl. Combine Splenda (or sugar), cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over apples and toss. Spoon apple mixture into crust. Place second crust over filling. Seal edges, trim and flute. Makes 4 slits in top crust. Bake in a 425\u00b0 preheated oven until top is golden brown, about 40 to 50 minutes.
