Green Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck or beef
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cans pinto beans
    1 large can tomatoes
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    5 carrots, peeled and sliced
    6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 cans green chillies, chopped
    ground cumin
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground meat and onion in skillet.
    In a large stock pot, add beans, tomatoes, carrots and garlic.
    Fill pot about three-fourths full of water and add bouillon cubes.
    Cook for about 1 hour, then add potatoes and ground meat mixture.
    Continue to cook over low heat, adding cumin according to taste.
    Add chillies and salt and pepper and continue cooking until done. Great with cornbread.
