Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick melted butter or margarine
1 c. pecans
3 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar

Preparation

Mix together cake mix, melted butter, pecans and 1 egg.
Press into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Mix together 2 eggs, cream cheese and box of sugar.
Pour cream cheese mixture over cake mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
