Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. maple extract
Preparation
    Heat sugars, water and cream of tartar in medium saucepan to boiling.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add maple flavoring.
    Store in cool place in tightly closed bottle or jar.
