Ingredients

1 lb. dates
2 c. granulated sugar
2 sticks butter
2 eggs
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
coconut
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter, add sugar and dates; stir well.
Add beaten eggs and cook until soft ball stage, stirring constantly, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Add vanilla and nuts, pour over the Rice Krispies. Mix well.
Roll into balls and roll in coconut.
