Sauerbraten Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    2 medium onions, diced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Brown stew beef with oil.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover; simmer until meat is tender.
    Thicken gravy with flour and water. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
