Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. chopped and floured nuts
    6 bananas, well beaten
Preparation
    Cream shortening, oil and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and chopped and floured nuts.
    Add bananas.
    Bake in 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans (or you may use waxed paper to line pans) in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Frost with caramel icing.
