Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beans, dry soldier beans or any preference
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1/2 lb. salt pork
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. maple syrup
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 to 3 small onions, chopped
Preparation
    Cover beans with cold water overnight.
    Drain and rinse. Cover with cold water, add 1 teaspoon baking soda.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour (test for doneness by blowing on a spoonful, they should split).
    Drain, but save cooking water.
