Gloria'S Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    In another bowl, add butter and sugar together; blend well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Blend well.
    Alternately blend milk and flour mixture into butter, sugar and egg mixture.
    Add lemon extract.
    Beat well.
    Fold in pineapple before pouring batter into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Set temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. While cake is baking, mix together 2 tablespoons butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and crushed pineapple.
    Pour on cake.
    Place on plate and serve warm.
