Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In
    a
    large
    bowl, cream margarine and sugar together. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg, water and vanilla; beat well.
    Mix flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and
    nutmeg
    together
    and
    add
    to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir
    in
    oats and pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until
    lightly browned.
    Let
    cool
    slightly on cookie sheets before moving to wire racks to cool completely.
    Makes about 4 dozen.
