Ingredients

1 loaf French bread
16 eggs
butter
1 pint whipping cream
1 c. honey or syrup
Preparation

Slice bread into 1-2 inch thick slices.
Place in greased 9X13 pan.
Mix cream, eggs and honey (or syrup) and pour over bread.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Dot with butter while still hot.
I have substituted skim milk and 1/2 egg whites with no problem, although not as rich.
