Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. water
1 c. raisins
3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. finely grated carrots
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Bake in large tube pan at 275\u00b0 for two hours.
Cool on wire rack.
Turn onto serving plate.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yields 16 servings.
