Aunt Sophia'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. cut-up fruit or small fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water or juice
Preparation
    Melt margarine in pan (10 x 10-inch).
    Stir in, all at once, flour, baking powder, salt, 1/3 cup sugar and milk.
    Put fruit over this mixture.
    Do not stir.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar.
    Pour water or juice over all.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until brown, about 30 minutes.
