Pinto Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pinto beans
2 to 3 tsp. bacon grease (or some boiling meat)
1 tsp. salt
1 to 2 chopped onions
1/4 bottle ketchup
pinch of soda
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
-
Rinse pinto beans; cover with water and add boiling meat or bacon grease, salt, onion, ketchup, soda, chili powder and brown sugar.
You can add 1/2 pound meat 1 hour before done.
Cook until tender.
