Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 oz. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3 1/2 c. flour
1 egg
butter
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add shortening, sugar and salt.
Let cool. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
