Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. cream-style corn (yellow)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 jalapeno pepper, chopped fine
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together, adding cheese and pepper last.
    Bake in greased skillet at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
