Blond Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in saucepan; remove from heat.
    Stir in brown sugar; cool.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir into butter-sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Place mixture in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Cut into bars while warm.
