Cornish Game Hens With Cranberry Orange Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Cornish game hens
    2 c. your favorite herb bread stuffing
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
    3 lb. chopped fresh cranberries
    1/2 c. pecan halves
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 (1 lb.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1/4 c. Grand Marnier
    3/4 c. orange marmalade
Preparation
    With a damp cloth, wipe Cornish hens inside and out.
    Rub the cavity with salt and pepper.
    Saute onion and apples in 1/2 cup melted butter until tender.
    Stir in stuffing, cranberries and pecans.
    Stuff hens loosely.
    Close openings with skewers or needle and thread.
    Bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes, basting occasionally with additional butter and drippings.
