Milk Chocolate Mini Cookies - cooking recipe

3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
6 oz. 30% to 40% cocoa chocolate or milk chocolate
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Milk Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting (optional)
Preparation

In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a small heavy saucepan or double boiler, heat the chocolate over low heat until melted, stirring constantly.
Set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
Beat in sugar until fluffy.
Beat in melted chocolate, egg, and vanilla until combined.
Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
Divide dough into 4 equal portions.
Wrap each portion in plastic wrap and chill in freezer for 20 to 30 minutes (or in refrigerator for 1 hour) until firm enough to handle.
