Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie shell
    1 qt. strawberries, washed and cut
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until thick and clear.
    Cool for 10 minutes; then add package of jello.
    Put strawberries in pie shell; pour mixture over it and refrigerate until set.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
