Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 Milky Way bars
1 stick margarine
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda in milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Melt the first 3 ingredients and set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add rest of ingredients.
Beat well.
Pour in melted mixture and put in 3 layers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
