Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients with the exception of vanilla.
    Boil fast 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Beat until cool and creamy.
    Spread on cake.
    If icing begins to get stiff while spreading on cake, add a few drops of milk and beat for a minute.
