Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening, margarine, etc.
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 1/2 c. flour (if too soft, add as needed)
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, margarine, etc., and sugar, then add eggs, salt, milk, baking powder and vanilla.
    Mix all ingredients; knead in flour.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown (10 to 15 minutes).
    Makes about 3 dozen.
