Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 pt. sour cream
2 pkg. strawberry jello
1 c. boiling water
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 can crushed pineapple
Preparation

Mix jello and water; add strawberries and stir well.
Add pineapple and nuts and stir.
Pour half of mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Chill for 2 hours or until it sets.
Then spread with sour cream.
Spoon remaining jello mixture over sour cream and chill several hours before serving.
Let second half of mixture stand at room temperature.
