Hamburger Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. hamburger
1 small onion
6 potatoes, diced small
6 carrots, sliced thin
3 celery stalks, sliced thin
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
6 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Preparation

Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
Add water, carrots, potatoes, celery, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Cook until tender, about 1 to 2 hours.
Add brown sugar during last 15 minutes of cooking.
