Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
dash of salt
1 egg
2 1/4 c. milk
1 can coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Mix well and cook until thickens the first 5 ingredients, then add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Beat well.
Pour into prebaked 9-inch pie shell.
Cover with meringue or Cool Whip.
