Escalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 tsp. butter
    1 can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. herbed bread stuffing
    1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots and drain.
    Cook onion in 3 teaspoons butter until soft.
    Stir in soup, salt, pepper, cheese and carrots. Place in greased 2-quart casserole.
    Toss stuffing in 1/2 cup melted butter, sprinkle over top.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
