Hot German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
    1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    In large saucepan heat all to boiling point.
    Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered stirring occasionally until cabbage is crisp and tender.
