Ingredients

6 large, ripe tomatoes, peeled and quartered
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
1 large onion, cut into slices and pulled into rings
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed or 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. cold water
Preparation

Place tomato wedges, green pepper and onion into shallow dish. In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute; pour over vegetables immediately. Cover tightly and chill.
Keeps for several days.
