Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. water
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Put all ingredients, except flavoring in top of double boiler and cook over boiling water.
    Beat for 7 minutes or until frosting stands in peaks.
    Remove from heat.
    Add a few drops of flavoring. Mix.
    Put on cake.
