Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can green asparagus tips
    1 pimiento
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped cheese bits
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Make cream sauce with flour, butter, salt and pepper.
    Use asparagus juice, plus milk, to make liquid.
    Fold in two beaten egg yolks when sauce is thick.
    Fold in two beaten egg whites. Top with cracker crumbs and butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until crackers are golden brown.
