Old Fashioned Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. soft bread crumbs (use 4 c. for firmer pudding)
2 c. milk, scalded with 1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place bread crumbs in 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
Serve warm with cream.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
