Stay Crisp Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. shredded cabbage
    1 green pepper
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 envelope plain gelatin
    1/4 c. water
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2/3 c. oil
    2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cover all vegetables with water and chill.
    Soften gelatin with water.
    Mix all dry ingredients with oil; bring to a boil on the stove.
    Add softened gelatin.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add hot mixture to drained vegetables.
