Grated Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes, cooked whole, unpeeled
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
    3 c. heavy cream (1 1/2 pt.)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water until almost tender but still firm. Cool, peel and grate, using grater.
