Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk, scalded (do not boil)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 cake yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water, plus 1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Put yeast cake in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar in a large mixing bowl.
    Allow to foam about 10 minutes.
    In the meantime, heat milk.
    Add 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and butter or margarine; allow to cool.
    Add milk mixture to yeast and mix in flour.
    This is a very soft dough (too soft to knead).
    Cover with a damp cloth and allow to rise in warm place, about 50 minutes.
