Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk, beaten
2/3 c. milk
1 can apple pie filling
1 Tbsp. butter
1 beaten egg white
Preparation

Mix together first 4 ingredients.
Blend in egg yolk and milk.
Roll out 1/2 dough to fit a jelly roll pan.
Spread on filling, then dot with butter.
Roll out remaining dough and pour over apples.
Brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or drizzle glaze over when cool.
